Sculptra® is an injectable biostimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that works by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra gradually restores volume and improves skin texture over time, offering long-lasting and natural-looking results.

Most dermal fillers (like hyaluronic acid) provide immediate volume that eventually dissolves. Sculptra, on the other hand, stimulates your body to produce its own collagen, leading to gradual volume restoration and skin tightening. The results develop over time and can last up to 2 years or more.

Most patients need a series of 2–4 sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the degree of volume loss and desired outcome. Your provider will create a personalized plan based on your facial structure and goals.

Sculptra results are not immediate. You may notice some fullness from the injection fluid at first, but this fades within days. Collagen production begins gradually, with visible improvement typically starting after a few weeks and continuing to develop over 3 to 6 months.
